Katharina Hoeftmann Ciobotaru, born in 1984 in Rostock, is a German-Israeli writer and journalist. Since 2011, she has published 12 novels and non-fiction books with renowned publishing houses like Random House and Harper Collins. While she writes her books in German, her Poetry is written in English. Katharina also works as a journalist and writes texts for Die WELT, Salzburger Nachrichten, EMOTION, Berliner Zeitung, Fairplanet and others. She lives in Tel Aviv with her two children.
